Constitution of the United State of America:

 Second Amendment (Bill of Rights)

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

(
The Second Amendment is not about a Militia. Nor does it give us the Right to Keep and Bear Arms.  It is about your responsibility to the Securing a Free State where men are not owned by any bloodline or aristocracy.  For a FREE People to maintain that FREE State, the Second Amendment prohibits Any Government  from taking away that "Right" already established by the Declaration of Independence that "All men are created equal" and FREE... and thereby do not have to ask permission of mommy government [or an aristocracy] to "Keep and Bear Arms")

Texas State Constitution

Article 1: Section 23 (Bill of Rights)

RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS.
Every citizen shall have the right to keep and bear arms in the lawful defense of himself or the State; but the Legislature shall have power, by law, to regulate the wearing of arms, with a view to prevent crime.

(This Article/Section "Recognizes" the Free People of the State of Texas and their "Right" to keep and bear arms as a Free People of the United States, but allows the Free State to direct how the Arms are used to prevent crime)
